Temporary Foal Certificates: Application Form
All PUREBRED foals born in the year 2004 and thereafter must be DNA sampled. A DNA kit will be sent to the foal owner after the fee and TFC form is received in the ACPS office. Once the mane hairs have been pulled, and the kit sent to Cal. Davis University lab, the results will be electronically sent to the Secretary. At that point, she will complete the TFC and send it to the owner.

Connemara Registration Fees – Changes for 2008
All fees double for non-members of ACPS….

Fees are applicable to foals of 2008 and effective to all registrations on July 1, 2008.

Purebreds:
TFC for purebred foals of 2008 - $50
Halfbreds:
ONE TIME FEE - $50
No longer required to go through the 2-step registration system – the halfbred Connemara will have one registration fee, one form to fill out, one-step to permanent papers)

At age 2, the TFC is considered to have expired. The certificate should be sent to the ACPS office with updated color/markings/height recorded, and the fee for permanent registration should be included. The original certificate must be returned, not a copy.

Permanent Registrations:
Mares and Geldings, Purebreds and Halfbreds:
With a Temporary Foal Certificate (TFC) $30
Without a TFC (Purebreds) $100
Without a TFC (Halfbreds) $30
Stallions (age 2 and not yet 3 yrs.) $250
Stallions over age 3 $500

STALLION SERVICE CERTIFICATE FORM
Halfbred stallions cannot be registered.

Transfer Of Ownership:
Papers sent to the office within 30 days of sale - $25
apers sent to the office after 30 days of sale - $35
The seller is responsible for completing the transfer papers and is encourage to take out an Associate membership for the new buyer.

Transfer Of Imports:
Within 1 year of arrival
(Mares & Geldings) $20
Stallions $250
The seller is responsible for completing the transfer papers and is encouraged to provide an ACPS Associate membership for the buyer.

Additional Services:
Farm Registration (Printable form) $100
DNA Test Kit $40
Name Change $100 – Registered farm prefixes must be retained with the name
Extended Pedigree $20
Duplicate Certificate $50 – Certificates issued only to last recorded owner
Stud Books XXX-XXXII $15 each
