The ACPS Purebred Connemara of the Year Award goes to a bay stallion who has had a very successful year representing the breed. The 2023 winner is *Coud’Poker Tartifume who has been outstanding in many realms. He is an 11 year old, 14.2 hand bay stallion, by Westside Mirah x Unedamdepik, bred in France by Eglantine Odoux. He was imported by and is owned and ridden by Donna Miller of Hidden Creek Horses in Alpharetta, GA. In 2023 he has won BOTH the US Eventing Pony of the Year, including an article in the Chronicle of the Horse, and the USEF Horse of the Year Champion Purebred Open Jumper. He has moved up to Intermediate level eventing and is one of the only ponies in the world competing in these events. His athletic prowess and wonderful kind temperament have earned him fans wherever he goes.
