Dorothy decided to make her appearance with tornados on the ground here in Central Texas, so naming her was easy! She is born to one of the top purebred Connemara eventing stallions in the country and out of imported Ballare Duchess, ISH who also has some Connemara and TB blood in her. Duchess evented through training level before incurring a tendon injury and came to our breeding program on lease while healing. She’s produced some incredibly athletic but kind babies, and Dorothy is no exception. She is a thinker, careful where she puts her feet when galloping around the pasture but bold enough to leap over tree logs, up and down the banks, and very steady on her feet. She has very correct conformation and while has great bone and feet, will have a slightly lighter build. She will make a fantastic event partner. Competitive homes preferred.
