Morning Glory’s Ilyushin was awarded Pony of the Year from the American Warmblood Society and achieved 82% in both the Mountain and Moorland and Connemara classes at Dressage at Devon in hand. In his first combined driving event in 2006, he won best overall training level champion and won his first preliminary level dressage test at his second show. “Duke” as we know him in the barn, has a very correct pony type with a great mind. In 2023 Duke was the reserve champion in-hand stallion for conformation and type. He is proving himself to be quite handy in the jump ring and fancy and competitive in the dressage ring.
