Seldom Seen Trophy

The USEF Seldom Seen Award for 2024 goes to Shawnee Go Bragh, a 17 hand black 3/4 bred gelding by Hideaway’s Erin Go-Bragh x Shania (Tre Awain Dobh Mcduff). He is ridden by Amelie Burk of Saratoga Springs NY and owned by Andrea McBurnie. He is one big pony! The USEF awards the Seldom Seen Award to the registered Connemara who ranks highest in the USEF Dressage Divisions and is ridden by a Junior. Congratulations Shawnee and Amelie and Andrea!

About the Award

Awarded to the highest placed Purebred or Halfbred Connemara ridden by a Junior at USEF Dressage Competitions.

Requirements

  • Pony must be registered with the ACPS or an ICCPS Society
  • Pony must be registered with USEF
  • The pony’s breed must be specified as Connemara or half-bred Connemara with the respective discipline organization
  • The current owner, rider, or lessee may be required to be a member of the applicable national organization
