The Tre Awain Halfbred Performance Trophy goes to a halfbred Connemara in recognition of a career of outstanding achievement, both competitive and noncompetitive. The winner of the 2026 Tre Awain Halfbred award is Fox View Limerick, a 1995 black, 15.3 mare by Balius Brannigan x Ellen Souffle (TB). She was ridden and trained by her amateur owner Marla Stone, who is now sold on the Connemara breed. She helped Marla win her USDF Bronze Medal in dressage. This mare received her Gold Medal from the ACPS in dressage and schooled at 4th level and some PSG before she took a break. She earned a USDF Allbreed award in 2000 and 2001, and participated in clinics with Walter Zettle, Linda Zhang, and Lendon Grey, representing the Connemara breed in many respected venues. She was bred by Laura Anderson of Leesburg VA.
