Skylan Nelson, TN
This is Skylan’s second year being awarded a scholarship! Skylan reports that her previous ACPS scholarship helped her get to the Pony Club rally at the Kentucky Horse Park, where she and Corner Oak Celtic Star (purebred broodmare) took home Reserve Champions in their division of the H/J series. With this year’s scholarship, Skylan plans to attend Pony Club clinics and lessons for cross country and dressage with her new riding partner, Seaborne’s Maritime, a Conn-TB mare.
