In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Connemara Pony Breeders Society, ACPS President, Linda Haines, presented a stunning hanging quilt to CPBS President, Dave Sheedy, at an International Evening of Presentations. The quilt was designed and sent over by Jody Loring of Woodstock, Vermont. Presentations included The Irish Horse Board presenting the benefits provided by the IHB to members and to international visitors who may need assistance when buying, vetting, and/or finding transport for equines purchased in Ireland. Tom MacLochlainn then gave an interesting walk through the history of the Connemara Pony, a personal account of famous ponies he knew growing up in Connemara. Following Tom, our ACPS members, Sarah McRae Thrasher and Tracy Garland, gave a well-received presentation on the new ACPS Online Learning Program.
